another month of training

Post  Lawbreaker on Mon Aug 17, 2009 2:37 pm

Alright, the word is final, leaving the morning of this coming saturday, 22 AUG, for Hohenfels, Germany for a rotation at JMTC before i get ready for the REAL mission in Afghanistan. I arrive back on the 15th or so, in time for the raid on SEP 19. Yea itll be a long time, and hopefully you guys continue to gear up thruout my absence. As for a replacement, Margoliz has decided to 'retire' tanking since the tanking got nerfed in 3.2.....kantus you should show him the light of tanking =) lol even though he's a DK. I love tanking, and i love raiding with D.O., and maybe ill pass off Lawbreaker to either Margoliz/Margolis, or maybe Luncelor, even though he has NO experience tanking at all, he's always on his warlock, show him the light too lol. Anyways, that's all for the info on that....

On another note, ive been thinking of breaking the WoW curse somehow, but not seriously right now. I was thinking when Diablo 3 comes out ill finally sell my account for good, both of em. We'll see though, BUT....another expansion? maybe i'll stick around, blizz has a way of getting our money from us =).

May good lootz rain down upon you all while im gone =)

reposting on collosseum 2...

as an addition to this topic and to let you know how bad im going to be sucking out there: first they told us there was going to be no electricity, so when we had off-time we wouldn't be able to listen to iPods, use computers etc. they told us we'd be in tents, which was fine with me. Today, they told us we wouldnt be able to go to any army post nearby the whole time we were out there, there would be no laundry, AND there would be NO SHOWERS! so, im supposed to be stankin' for 3 1/2 weeks straight?!?! i REALLY hope those baby wipes hold out...last post until i get back, take care all and get loot!

I've been to Hohenfels personally, and if you are really industrious and resourceful, you should have no problem getting laundry done and bathing. It is Southern Germany and this is August.

Now, I went in February, and it was a little more challenging.
